Yeah, I had wikipedia the Baltimore Colts because I was confused when I watched that Joe Namath documentary. My understanding is that in the middle of the night, back in the day they packed up and slipped out of town. Eventually Baltimore got the Ravens who use to be the cleveland Browns. I know the Jets use to be the Ny Titans, and I lost my train of thought, lol! Good night!

Sir, that is an excellent point. The Jetsies have crushed them in a couple of notable games, 41-0 was one of my all time faves. If anyone needs reminders of why to hate the Colts ... (1) Peyton Manning telling the Jets "Thanks but No Thanks" in '97 but then happy to go to the Colts ... (2) Peyton Manning vs. the Jets in his first comeback win in '98 ... AFTER Aaron Glenn ran back a missed FG 100+ yards for the TD. (3) Losing to the Colts in 2006 ... one of Mangini's early games, when that fucker came back to beat us with like a minute left to play. (4) Losing in the playoffs in 2010. I still don't hate Peyton as much as Dan Marino and Tom Brady ... there's a special circle in hell for those two.
I don't remember much of this game, except the Jets tried a lateral play at the end of the game to try and win and they made it to the Colts 30 yard line before losing the ball. I remember that play because I thought they were going to pull off the miracle.
To my understanding after I looked it up when I first learned about the "Baltimore" Colts ... they were going through financial woes and Indie offered them a loan and lots of MONAYYY! But I could be wrong.
Welcome to being a Jets fan! The only saving grace is when the Jets finally, it'll be REALLY sweet. Nowdays when the Yankees win -- I just shrug it off, tell myself "another? hm alright" and keep on my day. When the Jets win, it'll be of epic proportions Patriots are my number 1 hatred because I'm a younger fan that a lot of people here. Then Dolphins then the Raiders. After that -- I really don't have a problem with any other team.
I definitely hate the Dolphins and Bills. I don't care if they're shitty right now, if they ever turn the corner I will despise them and their fans so I will absolutely enjoy their sucking balls while it lasts. I'm sure in the early 90s when the Bills went to 4 straight SBs a lot of NYJ fans had disdain for the Bills.
