He won't be busting any new holes. Our run D is a top notch D, especially with the return of Ellis. I expect Ryan to come up with a game plan that will suffocate the Titans run, and force them to beat us in the air, and we all know that aint gonna happen with Revis shutting down whoever is in his way, and Lito/Strickland/ or Lowery taking care of the rookie. We should be just fine for this one.
Does anyone have any idea if Keller's blocking - or lack thereof - is hurting us in the run game? Baker gets a lot of flack around here, but he was a very solid run blocker.
I haven't paid a lot of attention myself, but from what I've seen, Keller is in for primarily catching.
It's definitely not helping...then again, I've seen Hartsock throw some awesome blocks (especially during the Texans game) so it's not like there isn't a run-oriented tight end available to Ryan and Schottenheimer.
This game is going to be completely different from the Broncos game last year, Favre was injured and our garbage secondary went up agianst Jay Cutler, Brandon Marshall and Eddie Royal.
Thanks for the info. Do Keller and Hartsock spend much time on the field together, or is it an either or situation in terms of packages?
"hey: TheBlairThomasFumble talking alot of shit with that cute little gay profile pic.....nice job toughguy"
If the Jets prepare for the Titans as if the Titans were coming in 2-0 and on a roll I think we'll beat them and maybe fairly easily. If the Jets prepare for the 0-2 Titans then hold on to your hat because it's going to get very hairy before the end of the day. Based on Ryan's comments I think the Jets are preparing for the Titans as if they were a hot team on a tear.
