Let's Settle This: Clemens or Pennington?

This might be the best thread we've had so far this season as well... Solid points, on both sides of the ball...

 

What Mangini should do is have Pennington come in like hes gonna start, line him up as a receiver when the huddle breaks, and sneak Brad Smith under Center 1st play...

I know the Cotch play was best of year last year but when brad smith went in motion while penny was in shotgun and stopped under center for a qb sneak that was my fave play

 

Whoever is starting, with the talent (or lack thereof) the Jets have, Schotty and Mangini NEED to run as many gadget/trick as humanly possible if we want to pull off wins against tough teams...period!

More screens, more Brad Smith designed plays, etc.

 

For the most part, both sides have been respectful and that's definitely refreshing.

I say we give Clemens one more game, and if he's not great jump Pennington right back in there. However, if he does pretty good and they get the win you keep him in for a while and give Pennington another shot down the line.

Also, starting Clemens next week would give Pennington time to fully heal
