It sure seems like I spent a lot of time laughing at the Bills when this guy was tossing the rock for them. On the other hand, he could be ideal bridge and mentor for a young quarterback in Chan's system--of course, considering Chan's age, he might not be around long enough to see the other side of that bridge...
to the people saying Geno > Fitz That isnt the point of bringing him in, even if Geno beats out Fitz, THATS A GOOD THING Youre trying to create another Sanchez, lets just bring in Brunell to be his "competition"
Shoot: Adam Schefter @AdamSchefter 5m5 minutes ago Still a good chance QB Brian Hoyer winds up in Houston, but his agent still is negotiating with the Jets and NY will be given a chance here.
How is two seasons enough to see what this kid has?? He has a moron OC in Marty who instead of running the ball 25 times a game with Ivory, has Geno passing on 1st down and having him throw 25+ times a game.... That is not a good way to get a young QB in New York comfortable.. Geno isn't ready to sling the rock around so use your strengths (Ivory), and ask Geno to manage the game... You notice the Thursday Night Game against NE where we ran the ball with Ivory 21 times, we almost won right? Was also one of Geno's best games because he wasn't asked to throw the ball 43 times like he did in the previous Monday Night game against the Bears. Play to the guy's strengths.. Don't put him out there and pretend he is Andrew Luck because he is not.
You don't want to see what Geno can do with some good WR's and a scheme tailored to his strengths? They will be flying banners over Metlife by Week 5 "Kill Fitz", if he comes here.
What he means is that Geno is potentially better than Ryan Fitzpatrick. There's probably not a QB in the NFL that is not true of. However Fitzpatrick has actually played half decently over a long period of time in the NFL whereas 95% of the guys who are potentially better than him haven't managed to do that or haven't gotten the opportunity.

If Geno can beat out Fitz in a true competition that's fine but he won't because he's not better than him.
Again, I get money might mean a lot to him and his family but is that a trait you want in a QB in FA? Someone contempt with being a backup and not wanting to fight for a job, which should be every QBs aspirations in this league IMO. Does Moore really care about being a starting QB or is he just fine as a no.2 making a paycheck? We went through that with Vick last season, prefer to not get a QB of the same ilk(Though Moore knows how to handle being a backup) this season.
Geno's worst trait is also Fitzpatrick's and Geno has the better physical attributes to him. Would be a massive upset if Fitzpatrick is starting for the Jets.
I can still see the clip with Peyton, Brady, Rodgers and Brees in 2011 where they were being asked about the violence in the NFL and just shaking their heads saying that somebody was going to die on the field soon if the rules weren't changed.
Yeah, that's what I heard. The Jets were going to make a push today. No trouble, I was just confused _
