Eh no big deal, he was unique in that he had long hair and did fire dances during his spare time. Other than that, he was a 2nd-Tier footbal player and was undrafted for a reason. I'd rather cut the guy now because he can't hack it, rather than find out in the 3rd game of the season when he's in covering for an injured starter that he can't play worth a dime.
The conditioning test has not been done yet, it happens when they report this week. Both players were hurt last year and have not healed adequately.....

Most people here thought he was the second coming of Polomalu and hoped he would be. A character certainly , an NFL player maybe not. Spooky that on the same day he gets released , Polomalu signs a 4 year deal with the Steelers.
Well.... sorry I never got to see Leonard Peters in a Jets' uniform. Perhaps Mangini cut him early so that he could catch on with another team early. Jets' are too deep at safety. He woulda had to really standout on ST to make this Jets' team.
i was just about to say. chatham is pure absolute garbage mangini thought hed be taking one of those fabled role players from a new england team hed be competing with. same case with dwight except he was actually worth having on the field in some points. but he cant return punts anymore. and i'll choose smith/mccareins/stuckey of him now.
