They've been trying to do that all year but it wasn't working consistently. The big change they made this week is they limited downfield throws for Sanchez and moved him around with rollouts and bootlegs. Hopefully that trend continues.
LOL, shefter, "after this is over I fire my agent". So true. Leon will get paid, but he'll have to take less.
There isn't anything positive about this, no silver lining...this really sucks! I don't want to hear..."Well at least we won', this loss is not worth the win.
a back as shifty as leon who relies on his lateral quickness and his cutback.....i wonder how this'll affect him. i'll be fucking gutted if we end up never seeing the same leon again. fuck this miserable dose of misfortune.
Hey, you guys were right, I'll admit it when I'm wrong but to me all I saw was his Knee/leg underneath. I didn't see the break and can you blame me on this board?
The only thing I can imagine is that perhaps Greene is better for this offense because Schotty definitely wasn't using Leon properly this season compared to the previous in my opinion. Have to think like this otherwise it's time to panic.
I really, really hope he is able to play like he has his whole career, next season. Sign him please, do not let him go.
Oh come on guys the fibula is a small bone and as long as there hasn't been ligament or tendineous damage it's really no big deal. Fibula AND Thybia that's a problem but only the fibula is no biggie.
Leon will be fine provided there is no complication from it being an open fracture (i.e. infection). He and Greene will be great for us next year.
Even when he comes back from this, there's no guarantee he'll have the same explosiveness as he had before. I'm crossing my fingers that he makes a full recovery.
too bad about leon... I am not sad about his contract situation... he should have signed the deal that was on the table. This is what happens when you roll the dice and take a gamble.
