Not sure if this feature is manually updated or if a feed broke, but the most recent stories are from 11/18. I regularly check that feature of the site, not sure about the rest of the members.
Just because you’re not getting the latest news doesn’t mean the latest news will give you better information than you already have.
One of the news sources disappeared, which caused the entire news ticker to fail. It's working again now.
