I don't know what my point here is, but Nick Swisher also does dances. Coincidentally, Reyes is my favorite player and Swisher is my favorite non-Mets player.

I now want Milledge traded. He's probably going to be an idiot his entire career. The writing's on the wall.
It's not a racism issue, either. Jason Isringfucker was also a douchebag. I hated that guy in 1996. Liked him in 1995. Liked Milledge in 2006.

Fernando Martinez and Carlos Gomez are other reasons to dump this Milledge clown on some other team.

A-Blow was voted by his peers as the 4th least friendliest player in the sport (Sports Illustrated, current issue). He trails Barry Bonds, Jeff Kent, and A.J. Pierzynski. Hopefully, with a little more effort and hard work and the retirements of the top three, A-Blow can ascend to the top slot.

I'm sure the Mets have many young female fans who would be offended by the lyrics. I'm sure the Mets don't want a 12-year old girl hearing garbage from one of the team's players.

If Milledge wants to continue rapping, he can do so while a member of another organization. This crap won't fly with the Mets, just like it won't with the Yankees.

I would trade Milledge because the Mets have two up and coming outfielders, Carlos Gomez and Fernando Martinez to flank Beltran. But I would not trade him for perceived "less than fair value" because of a stupid rap song. I would take a young, less than 27 year old, number 2 or 3 pitcher. Forget a one. I would also take him for a young 2nd baseman or first baseman with strong upside potential.

What's the deal with Delgado's contract after this season? The Rangers GM is now on record saying they would entertain offers for Mark Teixiera. That's a guy I wouldn't made dealing Milledge for.

sigh. 4m buyout for the 2009 option. The Marlins are paying 7m of what Delgado is owed through 2008, I don't know if that's all in the last year or has happened already.
