Hey I'm all for freedom of speech but with that I have the right to say someone sounds like a complete douchebag, that is the case here..

He just has too much talent to completely give up on, IMO at least. Plus I feel the Mets clubhouse is so good that one bad seed isn't going to affect the chemistry that much. Now if they could get something in return for him, then cya LMillz.. .

I think Omar has to package him in a deal, hopefully to Oakland, for either Dan Haren or Joe Blanton. Unfortunately, right or wrong, I think Lastings is lost in that clubhouse now.-----

How many players on the Mets do you think actually care about this? One? Two?

Well, for two, Wright and Wagner who I think carry weight in that clubhouse.

That's the same thing us Yankees fans said when they brought in Sheff and then again with ARod. (Granted, ARod is not a cancer, but his soured relationship with Jeter has been a problem.)

Don't underestimate the effect of a team cancer. Look at TO in Philly. Then look at Mangini's attitude toward Mawae. Chemistry is fragile, and this guy is already on the team's bad side.

Maybe none right now but that is only because he is not a member of the team on an everyday basis. I think it would be different if he was..

Burkhart: Lastings, tell us about the pitch you hit out

Milledge: Shyt was whack, know what I'm sayin? Ni**er tries to come in on me and I'm like...Yo, step awff with that shyt. Next pitch is in my zizone, know what I'm sayin, so I deposited the muh-fuhker. Cha-ching, beeeotch.

Burkhart: Please don't stab me. Back to you Gary, Keith and Ron.

I agree with you in some cases. The difference between LMillz & the guys you mentioned though is Milledge at least right now is just another guy. The core of the Mets team are all tight, just another guy is not going to disrupt that like a star would.

You guys just don't understand. You see, a pimp's love is very different from that of a square.

We should trade him for Bronson Arroyo, he can make some real music.

Or maybe Spezio, doesn't he have a band?

Apparently this track was recorded almost 2 years ago. People need to give the kid a break, there's no reason this should become a big story now.

If this was actually done two years ago, I do think that that changes things.

I also still would not be surprised if the Mets package him for a starting pitcher.

I definitely agree with you there.

Now you guys know I'm no Met fan, but at least one of us should be competitive. If this kid can help you, great. If not, get him out of there.
