Leon is worth 4/5 million a year if you ask me...He's the only true play-maker our offesne really has and it would be insane to let this man sign with a team like NE or Miami. Sign the man already...He's worth each and every dollar we give him. 4,5,6 million a year for our best overall offensive player? How much does A.Rod in NY make per year? Just wondering. Leon Washington has YET to come into his own as a RB because Thomas Jones is the #1 man right now but you know what? Leon Washington is a SPECIAL player and it would be a disaster for the Jets to let this man walk. Pay the man.
if signing leon to a long term deal would lite a fire under VG's ass, then i'm all for it. but i think i overheard leon say he would pay the jet's organization $100 per game to fullfill his dream of running between the tackles wearing the green and white!
