sure. if he was good i would love for him to play. doesnt mean i will like him though. drew coleman honestly does not have a SHOT to be a better player than Kyle Wilson.
Kdub got beat like a drum, but he's a rookie...the key will be if he learns and adjusts....some do, some don't...he's got the tools, it's just when and if he moves it to the next level. He's rookie so I'll cut him slack.
Im just going to come out an say it, I think Coleman should be starting over Wilson. We are forcing this kid onto the field to soon and its pretty clear he needs more time to develop.
Watch his play!! He is playing hard and is making plays. I understand Wilson is gaining valuable experience, but if their is someone on the sidelines that can make us better right now, then im all for playing that guy and letting wilson learn from the sidelines mostly. He would still be used in certain packages anyways.
So let's bench the 1st round pick in his 4th game as a pro for a journeyman who we've almost certainly seen peak because they are playing at the same level? I would actually argue that Wilson already looks better than Coleman after 3 pro starts.
For the amount of time coleman is getting on the field compared to Wilson, he has probably made the same amount of plays. Do the math.
Wilson has 10 solo tackles this year and 0 interceptions, he is on the field close to 100% of the time when we are on defense. Coleman has 5 solo tackles this year and 1 interceptions, he is on the field almost never. So how are his stats so good. This example cannot prove how hard he is playing and how many times he has good coverage.
