jus came home, and found this post. I dont think you understand how ecstatic we are to have your brother on this team. He was soemone we all wanted but planned on him being a top 15 pick without question. When his name was called I went nuts at the bar I was at clapping loud and screaming (this is in FL mind you lol) Anyways, your whole family sounds like a class act and its no wonder where your brother got his work ethic and sense of pride from. Glad to have you, Kyle, and the whole Wilson family on board with the GangGreen! J-E-T-S JETS! JETS! JETS! you will learn it, live it and love it! welcome aboard EDIT: CANT BELIEVE I FORGOT TO SHOW THE LIL EXTRA LOVE FOR A JERSEY BOY!!!! NEW JERUZ IN THE HOUSE!!!!!
LOL I'm definitely going to the game down here. That's what I told my mom she could get me as my going away gift. I don't personally know any Jet Fans though down here so I'd like to find out who on this site will be going and where they are sitting because then I'll just try and get tickets by them. But we can worry bout that later.
I talked to my brother in law last night about the draft. To give a little background, he's a former 12 year vet at CB in the NFL, worked on Jim Harbaugh's staff at USD as a DB coach and recruiter, and now trains prospects for the draft at the facility he and my sister own and operate. His steal of the draft? Kyle Wilson. His only knock on the pick was that he hated the Chargers' (his last and lifelong team) trade up to select Ryan Mathews. He said that when he thinks about the opportunity to stay at 28, draft Wilson, and grab a RB later, he curses AJ. Of course, he said, AJ has always thought of himself as much more of a genius than anyone else ever would.
I agree with the bro in law. I was at dinner around the Texans pick, and when they took Jackson I said to my family "the prospect I want the most in on the board. He needs to fall 9 more spots." And then when we went home, the Cowboys traded up, and I went to a friends house just in time to see the Pats selection. "Wilson is still on the board... just one more" And then Odrick was taken.... "Wilson right now, Mike. Make him a Jet." And then drinking and cheering ensued.
I got a place for you to stay the night before if your interested. All you got to do is let me know where your sitting so I can get tix by you.
As soon as it was Miami's pick, I knew exactly who we were taking. Odrick had to be at the top of their remaining board with Vontae Davis and Sean Smith in the fold. Had to be. Of course, as soon as it got to Arizona, I knew we'd be getting someone good. I just couldn't imagine New England would go McCourty over Wilson. That was beyond good.
How do we know it's you? Can you take a pic with a keyboard on your head and hold a sign that says Mr. Wilson??
Gotta love BB getting "his guys" and not the BPA. McCourty is good, but not on the level of Wilson. Wilson is a more dynamic football player. Gotta love getting the present you wanted at #29. Xmas in April.
Making references to threads you were not here for and stealing something abyzmul already said...yawn
That wouldn't prove it's Vince Wilson, just some asshole who is willing to take a photo of himself at the whims of message board members. We don't really know what Vince Wilson looks like.
I was referring to a previous post made by abyz- Some real proof would be nice, I already stated I'm Vlad's bro and just so happen to be Mark's cousin too. I have a big diverse family.
I'm on it- I have Rodimus Prime pajamas though- He was the man in the original animated feature. Mark will be on Vlad's shoulders, we walk around like that all the time.
Same here. I figured MIA would take Odrick or Kindle. HOU and NE picking different CB's was incredible. I was ecstatic.
All I know is that I'm fired up about adding Kyle Wilson, Donovan Warren and Brian Jackson to this team! Rex and The New York Jets mean business!!
