It's possible. Also possible he wants to go to the Jets, knows they have Cap, and is using the Vikings to get every last dollar out of the Jets. Yeah, you would think the Jets would need an answer pretty quickly so they can move on to other players, if that is the case. I still think the Jets have a legitimate chance at Cousins.

With every passing minute I have this feeling he's choosing Minny and it will come out that the Jets were "never on the table".
Jets have enough cap space to pursue other players while waiting on cousins. So unless there is only 1 phone at one jet way mac should be able to go after other needs
All I know is if the Vikes do the deal with Cousins, they are saying that they have everything in place to be a contender except a QB. I'm not convinced that's the case but time will tell. This ties their hands
Offensive Line needs, maybe fix these via draft though....but then Barr and Kendricks are both heading into contract years and they need money for those guys. Also interior Dline isn't great. I know, they look bulletproof compared to us however if they sign Cousins, they are really banking on winning it all this year, but having tough decisions to make in just 2 seasons.

They have $19 million in cap space. Not sure how that is even possible. The Jets can win any bidding war though if it comes down to that. What they can't win is if he wants to play in a dome, with a team that was just in the NFC title game.
potential cuts/ restructures. signing cousins would kill their cap though, they arne't in our position goes to show how highly GMs think of cousins. they might wind up releaisng some talent too. I heard rumors iuaputi could be cut. I'd grab him up
