bridgewater did not suck

he was a 23 year old in his second year and the 2015 vikings had terrible pass protection and nascent receivers. but he managed games well and they went 11-5 ... he led them on a potential GW drive in the playoffs but their idiot kicker got liquored up and missed from inside 20 yards

all things considered, he did pretty well

 

I'm not quite sure a game manager coming of career-changing surgery is where we wanna put our eggs if we can't land the big one in Cousins. Bridgewater never impressed me. He's the worst of Minnesota's three QBs by far. I'd honestly rather take a shot on Allen or one of the day 2 guys not named Lamar Jackson over Bridgewater.

 

i guess were going to have to agree to disagree on this one

i want my young qb managing games while he learns the in/outs of the position. its what goff did this year, prescott last year, and wilson, flacco, ryan, eli, rothelisberger, brady, etc did early in their careers ... rarely do young QBs come in and carry an offense

if bridgewater is healthy, i think hes a great option going forward. obviously, i wouldnt put all my eggs in that basket. signing him would have to be followed with drafting a qb early in the draft

Foles stepped in for C Wentz and played brilliantly at QB irrespective of the talent there ...guess what ..I would rank him head and shoulders over Cousins...same situation Cousins would do a magnificent choke job

 

Foles played amazing yes but the clock will strike midnight as it has numerous times through his career. Regardless...I'm saying it's a team game...I guess in your eyes had the defence not taken the ball from Brady and Pats win "Foles lost the game" its the most ridiculous notion saying a QB lost the game over and over ..when he didn't his team would have .... Foles doesn't play DE as well. That's it end of story if we can't agree on this simple football fact there is no point on beating a dead horse

It was a joke. Everyone has typos. I just saw a different story about Cousins that he was 4-19 against the good teams. Not someone the Jets should be spending 150 million on. Just saying.

 

MM needs to show cousins this thread with his sales pitch...he'd be impressed the amount NY fan base have discussed him (121 pages) and he's not even a Jet. Lol.
