The Jets should just make up their minds to go after Chris Long or McFadden. They have made a ton of improvements already. They should just pay whatever it takes to get that one dominant player on either side of the ball. BTW, there will be no trade with Dallas involving players. You obviously can't trade players on the clock and Dallas would never make a trade to #6 without knowing who is going to be there when it's their turn to pick. I knew getting that last totally meaningless win against KC was going to kill us and has it ever. We would have had the #3 without it and would have been assured that either Long or McFadden would be there. We couldn't even lose when it mattered last year.
I like Mendenhall and I think he will be a stud in the NFL. There is also a RB from East Carolina very fast 4.2 forty with good hands could be a weapon. Anyone know of the the ILB from Tennesee?
Chris Johnson is that running back from ECU. He is extremely fast, but we already have a back like him with Leon Washington. Johnson is way too small to be an every down back, like Washington. Jerrod Mayo is the Tennessee linebacker...he should go early to mid second. There are much better prospects at both positions though.
