I may have missed something, which is always the case, but where are the Texans??? I thought they had the #1 pick overall.
Kiper is single handedly responsible, although with some help from Dan Patrick, in ruining our planet's o-zone layer.
Young has never taken a snap from under center! The guy is going to be a fish out of water in the NFL. Bust! No way the Jets can go wrong in this draft. You're going to get an impact player no matter what happens. For your sake, just pray that Leinart slips to four.
When did SF get the #1 pick overall??? What have I missed. This was the draFT ORDER LAST i CHECKED. 1 Houston Texans 2-14 .535 2 New Orleans Saints 3-13 .523 3 Tennessee Titans 4-12 .512 4 New York Jets 4-12 .527 5 Green Bay Packers 4-12 .531 6 San Francisco 49ers 4-12 .539
Didn't see that. What if, just what if, The Texans pass on Bush, NO drafts Brick, and the Titans draft one of the QB's. Do we take Bush at #4. Just asking because this has all the makings of a wild first day at the draft. We have to be prepared for any number of scenarios.
He didn't say that. I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt. If we can get decent draft value for Abe, I'm down with taking Bush at 4.
 better to take cutler and stop all this young nonsense. better to get a guy who already has experience on a crummy team, until we can rebuild the offense.
we're not taking young. Mangini says over and over again that he wants smart, tough players. Young is tough, but (Wonderlic) not smart, therefore he doesn't fit the mold. We might all be really surprised with who we wind up picking at #4 -- if we're even there.
how does SF have the #1 pick? sorry if i missed something, but did Houston trade away their #1 overall? Cutler looks like the next Ryan Leaf. I'd rather have Ken O'brien and a box of neon tees.
Im hoping that we can leapfrog the Titans and grab Leinart, Dbrick or Mario Williams will be available #4 each of whom the Saints are now likely to pick anyways.
But it would be smarter to draft a kid known for making terrible decisions on the field? (note, not Vince) That one statement would knock out so many players it's not even funny. Can't base a draft strategy off of one comment.
