Keyshawn is definitely worth bring back. A big, hardworking veteran wide receiver that'll go over the middle and get down field to block? Sign me up.

i think we all would and not only the fact he could teach our young recievers a few things, but he could block for TJ and Leon.

Something called major matchup problems for Nickel corners? He's just a reliable option no matter the set.

Now that we have convincingly voted to get him back, the real question is, Does he really want to come here? Has anyone heard any rumblings from his camp? How about our coaches? I want him here really badly, but I have not heard word one about his desire to come here...in fact, the pats and chargers are the two teams I have heard out of his camp.

Man, I want Keyshawn so bad, but I can't see him going to a non-contender.

    What, the Jets aren't contenders?

I see what you may have to say to back up your statement, but still, we are contenders just as much as all the other teams that made the playoffs are.

This was posted on PFT, which means it could be a load of crap but it doesn't sound like it this time.

MESHAWN DID NOT RECEIVE A $3 MILLION BONUS

We've been trying to figure out why the Panthers would release receiver Keyshawn Johnson only a month after paying him a $3 million roster bonus. We finally know the reason.

They never paid it to him.

Pat Yasinskas of the Charlotte Observer reports that the Panthers did not -- contrary to a report from ABC 12 and possibly -- pay Johnson a $3 millon roster bonus on April 1.

As to the reason for the move, Yasinskas writes: "Some very important people in the organization weren't happy when Johnson failed to stand up and take blame from quarterback Jake Delhomme after some critical passes intended for Johnson were intercepted. At least one very important person in the organization urged Johnson to do that and he didn't."

Yasinskas also says that the decision was made a couple of weeks ago, and that the team waited until after the draft to make the move.
