What I am getting from the reports I'm reading and the press conferences I've seen is that kerry and Dennis Thurman (DBs coach) just don't see eye-to-eye on how to play football or on how to prepare to play football. Given that your position coach and one of the players he coaches can't seem to ge ton the same page what are you going to do? He was benched for week 12, I imagine after multiple weeks of attempting to get him to work with his coach. The reports I've heard/read since then were that his play improved but I've yet to hear anyone (Ryan, Pettine, Rhodes, Thomas) say that the relationship has improved at all. This tells me that Rhodes is still a 'problem'. Sounds to me like Ryan has tried to 'fix' the problem and it hasn't worked. We'll know if the KRhodes Jets experience will be successful when we hear how great he is getting along with Dennis Thurman or Rex jettison's his defensive assistant of 6 years from B'more and 1 year in NY. As for what I'll say in September? See the previous paragraph. We'll know if kerry is on board or not by how he praises or ignores his position coach. Do you expect the players to work with the coaches?
