My guess is he lost like 30 lbs of fat and put on at least 20 in muscle.

even when he was drafted you could tell he had he frame to add more muscle, he was just really fuckin big.

His core looks trimmer and his arms are jacked now. Instead of him juss being a mountain of a man.

I was texting a friend of mine whhos a jets fan during most of the game and by the second qtr I told him. Ellis looks like a monster this year gonna be hard to keep him off the field.

He's playing with his head on a swivel, which is what young players have trouble doing cause they're so concerned with physiccall executing. You see him tracking the ball as he moves people clear out the gap and commands double teams. Hence why you saw him around the ball alot and in the backfield instead of just pjshing guys back like last yr.

We got a steal and I was high on this pick when it went down. Lol I seldomly jump up and scream about a pick past the 2nd rd. Leon washington, brad smith, demario davis, and kenrick ellis made me go nuts

“I like small-college guys, guys from historically black colleges. Big-school guys may be maxed out. Small-college guys haven’t had the coaching. If he’s tough, he can get better.

Mo Wilk and Ellis to a tee.

Mo, Ellis and Coples. That's our DLine. Inexperienced, but a ton of potential. There was a time when our DL was one of the oldest in NFL. Now it's the youngest if Ellis starts.

With Howard playing real good in his only start for us, our focus needs to shift to LBs in the 2013 draft.

Ellis's arm is scary in that picture. It's the size of most running backs' legs!

Ellis ain't in jail because no prison guard wants to try and 'subdue' him.

I want this guy playing almost every down but they'll probably go with Pouha because they just handed him money. Hopefully Rex regrows his pair and gives the guy a fair chance to destroy.

I was pleasantly surprised to see Ellis basically manhandling Ryan Kalil, of all Cs in the NFL. That's something - especially if you consider this 3rd preseason game, which is pretty much a rehearsal for the regular season. If he keeps up, this DL will be down right nasty.

I wait for the day - when Ellis just throws Koppen like a used-up rag doll and slams on Brady.

Was an absolute monster last night. My dad and I watched in awe at how he was getting constant pressures.

Love the way her played and he impressed the hell out of me. not only is this defence better this year but I also think they are a little meaner then last year. HEY Brady were coming for you. You can count on that. Go JETS

I would also like to see some high picks being spent on the Offense, in the last 5 years 4 of our 1st round picks have been spent on the D.

Ellis had a great game against a pro bowl lineman. The defensive line is set for the next decade. So will the safety position, Bush and Allen have looked good but give them a couple years and they will take over back there. I have liked what I've seen from Allen more so Bush tho. Just a tackling machine. I hope Landry stays healthy this season and the rest of his career and be a jet for life because the man is a monster on the field. He is Basically the same player as Bob Sanders but hopefully he can break the injury bug

Allen has looked good against the 2's, but Bush looked like total shit against the 1's in Bell's absence. But they both show promise. Hopefully they both improve greatly this season, because Landry has looked great, but it's only a matter of time until he blows his achilles again so he is nothing but a stopgap. A mean one. but a stopgap just the same.

As far as line line being set for a decade, I'm sure the Panthers felt that way in the early part of last decade until Jenkins' knees blew out and Peppers started acting like a bitch. Things happen. If the Jets want their line to be set for a decade, they need to keep building it, kind of like the assfuck NY Giants have. Keep adding high picks to that line. Never stop.

Awesome to see Ellis play well. He dominated at times Sunday. Colpes looks like a beast as well. I think our front seven may not have the big time outside pass rusher but we should have enough talent there to get more pressure in the past couple of years and be extermely tough against the run. I also like what I have seen in flashes from Jay Richardson. Our D line is just talented and deep right now.
