Kellen Clemens must be terrible. Its unfortunate. Good height, rocket arm.

Can't feel the rush for shit, bad footwork, horrible vision.

3 very young QB's, all drafted within the last 2 years, once Clemens is gone.

 

Maybe the Mets can sign him, everyone knows they need some arms.

 

why are we fighting over our backup qb this is just rediculous.

I assumed we were cheering because booing him certainly wouldn't help. Of course I cheered louder when Sanchez came back.

 

Well,

No doubt this subject is one that has divided many Jets fans since Kellen was drafted. An this issue is never going to be resolved until Clemens is moved on to another team. Yet, lets be fair, this kid was drafted by us as a first choice second round pick with much promise. His college time was excellent until he broke his leg, we must remember many thought he would be a first rounder and a high QB pick, had the injury not happened.

Sometimes a change is really needed to get going and because of the Jets lack of confidence in him and all the coaching changes he has lived thru I hope for his sake the Jets have not totally runied this kid.

I am reminded of Kyle Orten and how average he was in the Bears system, once moved on to Denver, he is reborn and playing on a whole different level. If you told the folks in Chi-town that Orten would be out playing Cutler once the trade was done, they would have sent you to the nearest mental hospital.

So we will all see next year if Kellen is given a TRUE chance to get the starters role and lead a team, just what he was and is made of. If he get a whole season like Mark and is stood behind no matter what, will the kid who was so good in college emerge and surprise all or will he fall flat on his face and be a back for a years or two otr maybe move on to the USFL and then fade away......
