If Cotchery ends up being our # 1, then there is no hope for the future. The fact that he going to be our # 2 is disturbing enough. By the way this is no knock on him; it's just that there are way too many talented WRs in this league to have Cotchery as your # 2.

You need to watch more college football games or get yourself a new TV.

He broke all of Torry Holt's records at NC State. Do you think Holt sucks?

He broke all of Holt's records at NC State; you need to get your facts right. He was very impressive at NC State, and would have been a first rounder if his 40 time was a little quicker (i think he ran around a 4.55) he would have been a first rounder.

    WR Drafted Ahead of Cotchery
    Larry Fitzgerald (Ari)
    Roy Williams (Det)
    Reggie Williams (Jax)
    Lee Evans (Buf)
    Micheal Clayton (TB)
    Mike Jenkins (Atl)
    Rashaun Woods (SF)
    --------------------
    Devery Henderson (NO)
    Darius Watts (Den)
    Keary Colbert (Car)
    --------------------
    Derrick Hamilton (SF)
    Bernard Berrian (Chi)
    Devard Darling (Bal)
    --------------------
    Carlos Francis (Oak)
    Samie Parker (KC)

The only guys on that list i would rather have are Larry Fitzgerald, Mike Clayton, and maybe Lee Evans or Samie Parker

I told you to watch more college football games not the college football record books. With your logic, the fact that he broke Holt's records would make him a better player than Holt. Also, don't put words in my mouth. At no point did I say Jericho sucks. I just know that he wasn't going to be a "great" NFL WR like my man posted; he just didn't have the physical attributes that would translate to "great"ness in the NFL. Next time you want to bring up his stats, you may also add the fact that he played with one of the most prolific passers in NCAA history in Rivers.

Well, we'll have to wait and see if he can prove it in the NFL now that he's getting a chance. I'm also not sure what playing with Rivers has to do it with, the point was he looked great in college, I think playing with a great QB like Rivers would support that point.

You have a beef w/ Roy "The Legend" Williams. Watch a couple of Bears games, Berrian is pretty good. Watts isn't too bad either; he's just scary thin. Everytime he catches a pass in the middle of the field I think he's going to die. This is a make or break season for Darling. Hamilton surprised me; I thought he'd be a good player. Coming out as a Jr ended up being a bad idea; he obviously was not ready.

You take Roy Williams over Evans and Parker, no question.

I guess you are one of those guys that like to through the word "great" around. I watched NC State a lot; he never wowed me. He just caught a ton of passes. I guess when you have to watch McCareins drop balls w/ "great" consistency, catching the ball becomes "great". If he was great in college, I wonder what adjective you would use to describe Reggie Bush's college career?

catching a ton of passes is enough to be a starter

Hindsight is 20/20 but we could've had Darnell Dockett, Nick Hardwick, Max Starks, etc. with that pick.
