They're so special they ride the short bus to practice.

Wow that's actually disgusting, I vomited in my mouth a little bit when I read those stats. How have we been so bad as to give up 9 special teams touchdowns in 2 seasons? To put it in perspective a little bit, in 2015 we lost the Eagles game by 7 and the first Bills game by 5. If special teams decides to stop being special then we make the damn playoffs in 2015. Why has it been so difficult to field an average special teams unit? It's been bad under Bowles but our special teams woes date back to Rex in like 2011-2012.

I'm not necessarily trying to be a douchebag, but there's no way to say this nicely. What you got against periods, bro?

Even at the end of Westhoff's spell the Special Teams were beginning to show signs of weakness. I think we've changed coordinators every season since he retired and the performance seems to get worse. It can't all be on the coaching surely? At some point you've got to point at the lack of talent and depth on the roster and say its just not good enough. If the starting OL can allow Suh and Wake a free run at Petty is it any real shock that a free runner blocks a punt.

The days of having guys on the roster that primarily play ST are over. I think Westhoff's ST declined when he lost a voice in the draft room. Rex wanted his players even if they were rotational players that were more 'special needs' ST players than good ST players.

The weak ST now seems like a combination of poor talent accumulation at the bottom of the depth chart by both Idzik and Mac, poor ST coaching and lack of discipline. Even the worst players in the NFL are still good athletes. It takes a good CS to harness that athleticism into a functional player and one that is disciplined enough to stay in lanes, show proper tackling technique etc. I see none of that here.. these aren't the ST's we're looking for move along..

Just more very compelling proof that Bowles should be fired, as if the offense and defense wasn't enough proof to begin with. Bowles really will go down as just a smidge better (debatable I know) than KOTITE.

All I want for Christmas is for Woody to PLEASE fire Todd Bowles.
