Is it me or did Peppers sound like a dummy in that interview? Maybe it was Tiki's interviewing skills, I don't know.

Yeah I was going to mention the same thing. He definitely sounded like a jackass.

They both were retarded. I don't know what was worse, Peppers sounding like a boob or Tiki trying to lay his face on the chest of every person he interviewed...

Not as bad as when Bruce Smith looked like he was going to eat that other woman alive.

Tiki Barber is pretty bad with commentary... he doesnt know how to lead the conversation and set them up for the next question with smooth transition... he showed that when he was talking to his brother... he just kept trying to joke around and if thats what he does for a profession he has to learn better skills.. no telepromters there

In his defense, I think he realized he shouldn't be discussing his feelings on National TV with-out his agent, especially when it comes to his contract.

As far as the OP, not happening. I want everybody to listen...WE ARE BROKE. Not, We Have to be Frugle. No, WE ARE BROKE. Enough said.

With all the money we have tied up Pace & Gholston we are not going for this guy it is a waste of a thread.

It also currently puts him around the same weight as Ellis, who I think is 287.

I figure we're not getting him, but his size/speed/athleticism makes him a 34 D's (or Ryan's D) dream because you can line him up anywhere in the Front 7, given the situation.

WHO ever says he cant be a OLB ..... u probably never seen him play or seen his athleticism(would obviously need to learn how to cover.. probably would have 15+ sacks as a olb )

here's your choice. Forget Peppers or forget Gholston because Pace isn't going anywhere and you don't play the 3-4 with 3 OLBs. Not at those dollars. (personally I would forget Gholston but it would cost about 25 million against the cap next year to cut him)

    + 1

Its the same thing every year. Each marquee player has a few guys excited that he may end up on the nyj. As if Thomas, Gholston and Pace don't take up enough of the cap as it is.

Guys, we aren't getting any big name players this off-season thanks in part to our spending spree last season and the favre situation. The main thing we have to look forward to is the draft. Focusing on big name players will only lead to a major letdown later.

We are not going after any big $ free agents. Its quanity over quality. We did our spending last year. GM needs to work harder
