Can somebody explain why the OP has "Seattle is now on the clock?" What does Seattle have anything to do with Denver?
The OP posted "Seattle is now on the clock" because Denver traded their 2010 first round pick to Seattle to draft a corner in round two. It's an assumption that Denver will finish 2009 with the worst record in the NFL. I think their decision to compromise the 2010 draft is the worst move they've made yet. Even if Alphonso Smith turns out to be the best cornerback in the league, why touch 2010? Smith was drafted 37th overall; Denver already had two picks in the 2nd, the first of which was nine spots away.
