    This is what is confusing me a bit, i have dipped in and out on this one a bit I admit, as I understand it TJ wanted $6m for one year - we didnt give it to him - he then settled for $5m for two years with KC - did we have another look at him at $5m for 2 years or did he just chuck his toys when we didnt look at the $6m for one year option and go to KC or did we have a shout at $5m for 2 and decide against it?

    This was all started by a rumor posted by PFT that was taken down shortly after. No other source has confirmed what PFT posted (Jets had a chance to match), but because people read it on the internet it is true.
