Considering the situation: Your previous record, a rookie coach, rookie GM, rookie Coordinator, and current state of the team one shouldn't expect a waiting list of FA's taking numbers. However, losing Runyan to the city he knows and loves shouldn't be considered a failure. The dolphins have already been turned down by Ashworth, Hope, Strong, and possibly Arrington. I understand the initial poster was under the impression that he took less of a deal, while the Jets had next to no competition for him, it shouldn't constitute failure from the orginization. Unless your a glass half empty kind a guy.

I'd easily take a Job in Arkansas for 5X what I'm making, and I'd seriously consider it an even less amount.
Our time on earth is pretty short. I would not want to sacrifice 10 prime years of my life and 10 fundemental years of my childrens' lives to live somewhere I don't want to be. I am not a southerner, nor am I compatible with the southern lifestyle (not that there is anything wrong with it....it just is not for me). What happens if I die of a heart attack from eating all that fried food after 8 years....I never get to enjoy the money. People who equate happiness with money or compromise happiness for money are never really going to be happy anyway. And by the way, don't get me wrong...I love money.
