This thread is disheartening. One player desides not to play for us, and that makes us losers. How stupid. It happens all the time to many other teams. The Jets made a fair offer and the guy didn't take it. Who knows, it may have been a blessing in disguise. He is an aging veteran. If nothing else it probably forces us to go in a younger direction which is not such a bad thing. Let our new FO finish their work and then judge. To render an evaluation before they have completed their work is not fair at all.

Just cause he maybe the best the NYJs have does not make him good thru out the NFL. This is where you & others go off the track thinking cause they start for us make them good. Any MLB whose majority of tackles is 5 or more yards d/field is NOT a good MLBer. You can attempt to qualify that by saying our DL sucked which is the reason but he just undersized & not strong enough to play MLB in the NFL & sooner or later you & others will realize that. What Coker said about him on Miami radio when we drafted so far is right smack dab on the money. Maybe we should hire Coker as a talent evulator.
