i guess this is just one of those things where i'll believe it when i see it. if the jets thought that his future was at cb, then he should've been moved to cb in the offseason. and i don't consider playing corner in high school as really playing the position. he's even said it hasn't helped him at all. if 4 years of playing rb in college didn't help him with the transition to playing rb in the pros, i can't imagine he's going to be any good trying to learn an entirely new position on the fly. devin hester is a super athlete but it's never translated to him being anything more than a return guy. it's just an odd decision to make a player switch positions during the season rather than look for a replacement cb elsewhere.

It has some picks, a few for 6 and some pass defenses. Rex sees that he has the speed and ability to play the position. I trust him. He looks like a guy who can make opponents pay dearly for their mistakes. He's fast and great in the return game as well. Lets see how it works out.
With Berry being signed, McKnight back to offense. I now take even more issue with this. Why move McKnight to defense for 1 week??? To tell him you don't think he can cut it at RB or CB? Microcasm of this team's management. It's piss poor.... And no, I'm not overreacting.
Probably because he sucked as much on defense as he does on offense and after next year he will be cut like most Jet draft picks of the last few years.
I mean yeah, I get it....But how does it make any sense to do so. If the team planned of bringing in a CB they could have just activated a PS player for that spot.
