Well I guess there goes his dream to be a CB. What was he thinking!?! He could've had a average CB career, but no he has to show signs of being a great RB in the future. With two human legs at that!!
I was heartened by what I saw out of McKnight yesterday, but maybe we should wait until he does something against a team ranked higher than 32nd against the run before we start jerking each other off about how good he is? The Bills gave up an average of almost 170 YPG on the ground this season.
I was busting balls about that on another thread. Joe McKnight was ..solid ....yesterday, but I think that was a function of how he was used. He showed amazing footwork which seemed to indicate that given a non throwaway game, he can be special. It's time to let Woodhead go. When LT is done...JmcK is going to step in nicely.
very true um yes. a 6th round pick as a starting nickel back. Dwight lowery was another late pick thats been a solid CB and now moved to safety. and give mcknight time. him and greene are our future at RB
I agree, he has to do something in a meaningful game now. He hadn't been given an opportunity to show his ability at running back since the preseason and with his first real shot since then he proved that he has come a long way from puking during his first practice. He showed the type of ability that many of us said he had. Now we can stop talking about how there is no way he can play in this league and start talking about just how good he can be for the Jets moving forward.
McKnight was running against a shitty D...but he was behind a 2nd string O-Line without a threat of passing.
Is Keller honestly a home run? Sure he's shown he could be a playmaker but the guy pretty much disappeared last half of the season.
It was a solid draft choice. Keller's a top ten player at his position. He's only going to become more involved when Sanchez gains more experience.
