Not sure if this has been posted here or not, but it shows why he was drafted... and maybe a clue as to his potential...
The guy in the game threads who posts "Bench Sanchez!", "Fire Rex!", etc. in the game threads whenever the Jets are losing. He also made a thread that I think is locked away in the TT forum stating how he should have been a Giants fan. His username used to be 'takemehomekerryrhodes'...lol
I don't watch practices and I'm not a coach so this might be completely ridiculous, but I wouldn't mind seeing Joe McKnight more often. If the coaching staff isn't confident enough in him, then I'm sure there's good reason why, but as a fan, I'd like to see more McKnight.
Gotta admit I was a little nervous when they put him in the game. We have had problems with speed backs this year
He did pretty well yesterday, considering he's done nothing previously. A couple of nice special teams plays, including a play where he downed the ball on the 1 yard line if I remember correctly, and that one catch he had wasn't bad either.
http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/f..._rook_can_end_running_joke.html#ixzz19sG7c21r Props to Coach Lynn for doing what a good position coach does. Props to Joe for getting what's going on here and working hard
Shonn Greene I like. Tomlinson however is not reliable, Marty wasnt the only one choking it up when San Diego would reach the postseason. Marty Ball wasnt executed and having lost a step I doubt that'll be any different in this years playoff. So I wouldnt mind at all seeing what this kid can do. Anyone who could possibly give the offense a spark and give Sanchez some help really.
he told coach lynn in august that he would prove everybody wrong. it's january. don't get me wrong; i'm excited to the point of delusion to see all these rookie, div IA frankenstein type project, little ufl players, bust 1st round draft pick, et al guys come out of the locker room and form a voltron-like, unstoppable football machine and plow their way to the superbowl. but, i'm sober right now. gimme a little bit.
I'm excited to see what McKnight can do today against this bills D. It would be huge if he proves that he can be a weapon for us in the playoffs considering LT's lackluster performance of late.
