I would have thought you were afraid the move would put the Jets in a very tenuous situation.

Beningo is a joke. He has no problem asking for someone canned. Someone should can him. All he is, is a crybaby.

He's over the top, no question. Have you seen the rant on firing Mangini on U-Tube? Hilarious. He's like, "Get out of town already."

It all makes too much sense. Something will go wrong if Cowher comes here, it always does.

its so odd for me to say this but i agree with you to an extent. i enjoy benigno greatly but he is a little over the top at times. this would be one of them. i would definitely not follow his advice or want him as the GM. :)

i cant remember the last time we agreed with eachother on something. kinda odd the whole board is going nuts and here i am agreeing with you :)

Yeah, this is too good to work out.

Cowher will probably come here and be found on the NJ Turnpike in a bathroom stall next to ex-Governor James McGreevy, tapping his foot and giving hand signals. The press picks up on it and the whole thing blows up in our face.

Something is going to ruin it all.

Well, it could become a very tedious situation for Cowher too, especially if Favre comes back and throws 22 more picks under his watch.

I agree with you, too. Work something out. Also, I agree with the person who said he suspected that this may have been the thought all along. I'd be surprised if this wasn't the case given how quickly they dumped Mangini.

I'm listening to WFAN now. Francessa is saying Cowher is a very good coach, but maybe not a great "Hall of Fame" coach. But he agrees that he's a proven winner.

Let's bring him and and see what happens next year!

What do you expect them to say it's a done deal?
