You have to say he does say a lot of the things most of us would probably say if we were in the same position. I pretty much feel the same way except i NEVER say i'm gonna give up on our Jets. I'll die with this team. Unfortunatly a lot sooner then i have to because of them.
Except this is all he does. It has been years of him doing the same, tired-ass bit. I can hear his fucking show in any given bar on any given night. Why the fuck should I have to hear it on the radio every day? And for the record, I highly doubt I would be bitching and moaning like he does. SOJF.
Why would anyone give a shit who I listen too? I was just responding to this thread. That being said, when I have my wife's car I tend to listen to SportingNews Radio or ESPNRadio to listen to Mike and Mike.
cartman and boomer is just about as crappy as radio gets. fatcessa is better than that drivel. cartman is an old douche and boomer is a nice moron. mike & mike are 2 morons which is slightly better than a douche & and a moron.
Just seemed like you one of the guys that thinks everyone sucks, and you could do better, blah blah, blah... That being said I think Mike and Mike are absolutely terrible...when I get reception... I personally can't listening to Beningo talk about the Jets. His constant negativity and overbearingly annoying whining just epitomizes everything I am against as a person.
This. His constant bitching doesn't help anything, and when he has access to players and coaches it can only transfer negativity. NY sports radio sucks. Martin Brodeur just broke one of the biggest records in hockey, has been here 17 years and you never hear his name. If he were some average middle reliever for the Mets he would be discussed non-stop.
Actually, I think having to sit through even one practice of Joe Benigno audio should cause enough anger in the players to wage a successful war against Ghana.
I agree Joe's woe is me shit is getting a little grating. Look...we all know the deal. If you are/have been a fan of this team long enough you have gotten your heart broken many times. Its the nature of the beast...All I can say is that when we eventually do win...and it will happen even though it seems like it never will...it will be so sweet. Speaking of heart break...I watched the game with my neighbor and his 10 year old son. His son was born a Jets fan but just this year he really started following them closely. Knows all the guys...positions...coaches...etc. I felt so bad for this kid at the end of the game. He looked like someone just stole his puppy. The most priceless part of it all was, right after Tony G. scored the touchdown he looked up at my buddy and said, "Dad...what just happenend?!"...his answer..."The Jets just happened" Truer words have never been spoken.
I put Somers on a list well below anyone mentioned here way down in hell.... This is the guy who in May if the Mets have a winning schedule will start talking about "taking over NY baseball"... And then in October, if the Yankees lose Game 2 to the Angels he'll gloat like the little jackass he is.... Gotta be a Mets fan to listen to this guy at all.... I thought Joe's rant was great, thanks for posting. I guess I'm in the minority but I love listening to Joe talk about the Jets. For those that say he is always negative I don't think thats true. Earlier this year he only had positive things to say when the team was doing well. I'm not sure how anyone who watched Sunday's game would react differently. That was a disgusting game. The Jets should be ashamed of themselves.
