I have not been keen on the Ashworth idea...

Apparently he has had some lingering back problems which have caused him to miss games in the past...I would rather go for a guy like Runyan who has been durable and reliable the last few seasons...

Eagles fans really don't want to lose him, looking at their board. I guess he still has a lot left in him.

    ...and old.

Well to best honest his age is more a minor than a major concern. But Id still rather draft a rookie like Justice, McNeill, O'Callaghan, or Whitworth, and start him, than sign a FA. If I wouldve gone with a linemen thru FA it would been Bentley. Im still surprised we didnt show him any interest at all

Bentley is a great player but there are a couple rules in terms of the cap.

A Guard, Center, TE, S, Kicker, Punter, FB or any backup shouldnt be making top 10 salaries on your team. We dont need to get back in Cap Hell.

As for getting a T via draft I agree, but we cant address every position through the draft and I wont be opposed to getting a stopgap player for a yr or 2.

CB is one of the last things we should look at, we have Miller and Strait. We can mold one of these guys into a starter to play along side Barrett.
Miller showed some promise at the end of the season, and I think he can start in this league.

I think this is a must sign too, even if he is just a hold the fort guy for a year or two its worth it to not have your QBs head ripped off especially if we bring in a young one where it could stunt there growth.

I don't mean as a top priority. Barrett-Miller- Strait... This is all of our CBs. I think it would be nice to add a veteran CB who can fill in somewhere. A guy like Ray Mickens would be nice.

Relax for what? He's coming in for a visit, people are hopeful that the Jets have a lot of interest in signing him.

Look how many visits are reported on kffl.com. They don't really mean much. It means we're on a list of like six teams that the guy is looking to sign with. It gagues our interest because we're one of the six teams, but it really doesn't mean much. We've had a few free agents visit that signed elsewhere. I'm just saying that some of these people should not get to excited.

    Marquis De Sade

two years ago when herman was bringing in all his favorite people i stayed all day and night to hear lynch or that other S$$T Head dB whose wife didn't like NY

jets need to bring in many players to become a competitor

hope the report is correct and jets sign him
