I'm pro Slaton too. I expected him to be a decent NFL player despite his size. He was great at WV. (or was that only against RU ; )
Yeah, Slaton showed real potential early on but Kubiak always keeps a stable of running backs and has a short leash if anyone fumbles. He never got another chance once Foster got on the roster. If Rex was his coach, he'd still be in the league....probably with a fat extension from tannebaum.
We need somebody to complement Greene big time. The other guys can't stay healthy and Greene can't do it all himself. Unfortunately it may be a day late and a dollar short.
We're digging through garbage right now so everyone Jets consider is gonna have major issues. Low expectations is the name of the game right now. Picking among players that failed to make anyone's roster or practice squad. Jets goal once again is another JAG that can barely hold down his roster spot. Just like they've done with RT. === That was pretty damn funny. Zinger indeed.
Funny thing is that Steve Slaton was supposed to be the starting RB for the Texans in 2010 before he got hurt in the pre-season. Then his back-up, Arian Foster, ran for like 256 yards against the Colts on opening day and Steve was never the same again
