McKinney was released right? That would mean he's a FA, not eligible to be claimed. Either way I'd hope we show some interest in him.
I feel like with the way the Jets set up their 53 man roster yesterday, they may claim a lot of players today. TE's, FB's, CB's, OL, etc. I'd say look at QB's but looks like they will not. Plenty of possibilities. Maybe make a trade too.

I have no idea to be honest. I would imagine it would be comparable to the Herndon trade. I feel like I remember reading the Browns wanted a 3 back when Njoku first wanted to be traded but since that's been sometime and his last 2 years haven't been great, I would say it would take a 4/5 to get it done. Maybe even a 6 now considering whoever trades for him will only have him under contract for this year.
Agreed, but like I said I don't think he can be claimed since he was released and not waived. It would make a lot of sense for us though considering how little depth we have at LB for at least the first 6 weeks.
The only people we put in claims for were Tim Ward (DE) and Quincy Williams (LB) And we're re-signing Ryan Griffin and Daniel Brown. Major major yikes.
I like the way you're thinking--he can be had cheap most likely since he's on last contract year and the Browns would save $6mm on cap if they trade him. Just don't know he's a fit for LaFleur and not sure JD want's to sink 6mm for a 1-year deal.
yeah. griffin has looked awful since returning from his injury. brown is meh at best. seems like he did it knowing they couldn't get claimed with the agreement he would sign them back once he IRs a few players so he didn't have to risk losing someone he wanted to waivers. smart move on his part for sure. the vikings did it with everson griffin too
Njoku wants to stay in Cleveland now. he didn't before and requesed a trade but browns refused to move him. I doubt he goes anywhere.
