Brees pitching at a 78.9 pct. clip (15-19), Petty under 50% and yet the Jets are within a score and have flipped field position in their favor. Here's their chance.
He's a non-factor. I mean, if he wasn't missing the simplest of short throws there might be a glimmer but he's a wet cat. Every throw he winds up like he's throwing a bomb, meanwhile it's a 4 yard pass. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
Goff looked like he didn't belong in the NFL last year, they changed the CS and brought in a young offensive minded HC and he's now blossoming into the QB that everyone thought he would. It took a massive overhaul for Goff to get to that level. We can use outside examples all day long Zace. He may not be the answer and I'm not advocating for him, I'm just looking at the same situation playing itself out next year. I hope the jets select one of the young QBs this up coming draft, it's the only way to move on from this Petty and Hack dust of ambiguity.
just back from my half time bath and see we fucked up another drive, can't say we haven't had some kind of a chance today.
Fuck adverts are littered with Star Wars just as a reminder that it wasn’t just today’s game that sucked! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
He doesn't suck; he's just not starter material. There's nothing wrong with that; he dropped to the 4th round for a reason.
No offense Zace, but Rex was a far better and more successful coach than Todd Bowles. I know he ran his mouth too much but he was way better than Gump. Lets not forget the Jets went to back-to-back AFC Championship games with Rex as head coach. Both years they were road warriors in the playoffs getting there. One thing Rex and Todd do have in common is they were defensive coordinators before becoming head coach of the Jets, so you expect that to be their area of strength. The Jets defenses under Rex were never as bad as the defenses under Bowles these past two seasons. Even in Rex's last year as coach, 2014, the Jets had a 6 ranked defense in yards despite being ranked 24th in points defense.
Unfortunately this appears to be the case. I was not expecting a Manning like performance, but open receivers with no pressure have to be completed at 5-7 yards...
I don't think he is going into next season with us now though or anybody tbh poor bugger hasn't had much of a chance.
Gannon really driving home the point that the Saints coaching staffs preparation appears to be vastly superior to that of the Jets.
On a team with players drafted by his predecessor. How did he do once they left? That jets team was stacked. Rex developed no talent and pretty much every draft pick from his tenure is off this team, regardless of GM. And youre obviously not getting whats going on here. The world doesnt revolve around you and your feelings. You dont like what i said or you disagree thats fine. Youre taking every way too personal, but im letting you know my position. You have no idea what youre talking about at this point, all you know is you are disagreing with me Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
considering a first time oc with a back up qb with only 4 starts vs the saints with brees and peyton who have been around forever i would think it would look like that. but half way through the 3rd and there is still a game so....
