It's nationally televised. I'm sure people will have streams up. Try http://www.firstrow.net/watch/27322/1/watch-baltimore-ravens--vs-new-york-jets.html around game time
I really don't see a spot for him in this game. He's another project player the Jets didn't want to risk losing on the practice squad. We weren't going to open up the passing game enough to need him as a receiver until Sanchez showed he's ready for it and he's not a good enough blocker yet to be of much worth in the running game.
Now that I think about it, I haven't heard much about Cumberland on Special Teams. That could also be why he's not dressed tonight. That's the main reason the cut Clowney.
Yeah, pretty much. Cumberland is a borderline roster guy that will make the active 45 some games and won't other games. It's really that simple.
Yep.. when they have a plan to throw the ball and spread it out a little, Cumberland will be active. In a game like this that is going to be smashmouth (plus the weather), there is no need for that extra tight end receiving option.
Shit happens. Worst case scenario, if you can't afford to hit up a bar or some cheapo restaurant with TVs, find an electronics store like a Best Buy. They always have MNF running.
AT LEAST a 30 minute delay to the game due to rain and lightning... DAMNIT (per 1050 ESPN radio,,, i'm listening to the stream lol )
It is absolutely pouring here (I'm in Hoboken, very close to Jets Stadium). Gonna be a real smashmouth game here tonight. Can't wait.
I think we have the advantage in a bad weather game. Sanchez's inexperience gets masked somewhat and Greene is a better pounder than Rice.
Shit.. was really hoping this wouldnt happen.. but it's not looking good right now.. really a lot of lightning.
I know we only got a limited look on Hard Knocks, but I don't remember hearing Cumberland's name once whenever they were discussing cuts. My guess is that Schotty really likes him. He's a big-bodied TE with good foot speed that can catch like a receiver. That's a valuable commodity in the red zone. Just look at the Patriots' game yesterday. They knew what they were doing when they drafted Hernandez and Gronkowski, as much as I hate to admit it.
I don't. We have an excellent pass defense and the weakness of the Ravens is their pass D. Sanchez struggles or no, we'll have a very tough time running on the Ravens. And if they pound, it won't just be Rice. It'll be McClain and McGahee.
well it's official, the game will not be starting at 7 This is a bad sign I'm going to go crazyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!
