Need a good drive to start the half.....they have so many CBs out, just need to give Mark some time to throw
Lucky to be down 10. I smell a 3 and out starting the 2nd half, and more jet fans being sent to the emergency room for heart attacks.
That really needs to be the emphasis in the locker room. We played worse than dog shit, and are still in the game. How, I have no idea. But we are. Don't be surprised if we come out hot to startnthe third....
Johnson was seen asking the ref 'will you rule this a fumble?' before he picked it up and ran it back Sources say the refs said yes.
The lack of an overturn wasn't a bad call. The initial call was. That should NEVER be ruled a fumble on the field if the ball travels forward even slightly. It's incredibly difficult to overturn in close situations, as demonstrated on that play. You always err on the side of caution. It should be a reflex. Whistle or no whistle based on where the ball moves.
I hope rex hired a hitman to take the stupid ass refs at the half. How these people "officiate" the NFL is beyond me.
During the "fumble" the ball traveled like fuckin 15 feet to the right, im sorry but that hit did not cause the ball to fly up in the air that far.
I am not even considering that. But that was obvious too. You know its bad when the announcers, who mostly hate the Jets do, question the lack of calls. If the arm even starts to come forward with the ball, its an incomplete pass. No if's, and's and but's. Should have been blown dead, but wasn't, and thats what fucked it up. Once you give Carrey a say, he will fuck the Jets 100% of the time...
I'd love to be a fly within ear shot of Rex's half time speech right now. Especially if it finishes off starting a comeback and better oline play.
I mean how the fuck can you say the hand was moving forward without the ball? did the ball go backward? no. Bullshit.
you mean to say the qbs arm was moving forward and thus the ball made forward progress? soxxx, im glad you understand the blown call.
I saw that Ngata creamed him in the back w/the top of his helmet I'm not surprised that no officials noted it, however
I agree that the initial non-call was pathetic too. However, even on replay, it should have been over-turned...
next time sanchez has to throw it away i hope he nails that ravens ginger trainer right between the eyes
So, you're part of tonight's officiating team? Shouldn't you get off the Internet, and back on the field for the 3rd quarter???
