I have never seen a pre-season game go into OT

 

100% agree...smith was garbage in the first half.. Let Sanchez play with the starters in 3rd. Instead we got to watch smith run out if the damn end zone. Guy is not even close to ready. Smith and his inability to throw the ball more than 5 yards kills the ability of the running game since the defense will just crowd everyone up.

 

I think that's his point; why did the Giants just aim for overtime in a pre-season game?

At least we get to see matt simms play more, possible dark horse to win

The Jets punter should take a safety here. End the game for everyone's sake

 

I hope we lose this one. I don't want a mixed message of "yeah we sucked but we still won." The defence wasn't terrible outside that first TD but that is the only positive I take out of this entire game.

 

I dislike the Giants too much to hope for that.

 

Bottom line is the Jets need to draft a franchise QB in 2014 and that's the greatest lesson they can learn from this game and upcoming season.

 

Rex is just happy the presser gets delayed.

 

This franchise is a disgrace.

 

Rex should just quit now. He's in a no-win position.
If Smith starts the season as QB, he's going to be brutal.
Sanchez may be too hurt to play.

This is going to be a LONG season.
