Hunter can't block, much less be expected to hold a block. Hell, Hunter attempting to hold a defender would probably end in unmitigated disaster.
We are not pushing the ball down the field. The defense never respected the pass. We need to push it down the field. Ground and pound isn't gonna win anymore. Sent from my SGH-T989 using Tapatalk 2
I don't post much but a read a lot here...those that think Sanchaz is playing "OK" are out of their mind...he looks like absolute 'ish. This entire offense is straight garbage...dinking and dunking their way to ZERO points. Clearly Schotty wasn't the problem...time to make close the book on the Sanchaz era...he's a bust for where he was picked.
Giants are eating hunter alive......jets really need to do something at RT. the omission of RT from the first 3 rounds back in April and FA is biting us in the ass. Watching manning his short passes are quicker and more accurate the sanchez. That millisecond is very important on the field. Defense looks ok but the giants short passing game exposes the jets at LB a bit. Hate to say it folks but the failure to make significant investments in the OL since the selections of brick and mangold 6 years ago is going to kill this team.
Tebow is the ultimate football player. We should try him at RT. I'd bet he would play much better than hunter.
3rd and short play action pass roll out of the pocket Sanchez can either run or trow a bomb. No more of this underneath shit and please no more hanging in the pocket. As long as hunter is in there sandy doesn't stand a chance. Get him out of the pocket he's mobile.
The only thing I'm taking away from this game right now is that Hunter sucks balls, and we really do lack a blocking TE. No one who can come in and help Hunter with the blocks. If the OL goes into the regular season like this, we're pretty screwed playing the Texans and 49ers this season with their pass rush and strong D lol.
4 Things on the Jets from a Jets fan: 1) Wayne Hunter is absolute ******* garbage...don't wanna hear any defense on how this man is NOT the worst starting right tackle in the league 2) Outside of a silly miscommunication and a throw he clearly forced....Sanchez was not THAT bad given what he had to work with. He was basically playing with the 3rd WR(Hill, rookie) and the 5th WR(Turner). No Holmes, Schillens or Kerley and add that Hunter is god awful and that's rough to ask vs a great defense. I expect people to push the panic button of course though. 3) The Jets D was great....Kenrick Ellis was THE standout that entire half for me. Excellent run stopping. The defense did all it really could since the offense just blew the load. 4) Such silly penalties.....led by McKnight's silly 15 yder. Special teams once again was terrible. Altogether, a less than aspiring half.
