I honestly dont think Sanchez's ceiling is that high. I dont think he will ever be a top 10 qb. He is a solid starter at best, a borderline starter at worst. Manning is a top 10 qb at best, and a solid starter at worst. You give Manning this defense and offensive line, and he wins 13-14 games and takes this team to a SB, even with Schotty.
Give it a rest, Jesus Christ. Obviously we can't get Eli so I don't care what he could do potentially if he was on the team. We have Sanchez now and he needs to get his shit together, I could give two shit about what Eli's ceiling is.
Yea, difference of opinion I guess. I agree that Sanchez most likely won't break that top 6-7 range, but I think he can make it to the 8-10 range eventually. I disagree on the 13-14 wins though for the simple reason he's not accurate enough. If you threw a QB back there who could complete >62% of passes with a low INT rate then I would agree with you. Eli does neither though.
