I have to agree with you. This past NE game has taken a lot out of me.

The Jets have to stop tinkering on offense... All the Jets have done all season is tinkered with things. They don't come out with a specific offensive gameplan and stick to it, all the ever do is try this and try that and bring in Brad Smith and try to fool people and then tinker again and tinker and tinker and tinker... ENOUGH TINKERING! Figure out who you are and what you want to enforce in this game and then ENFORCE IT! Don't go away from the run just because a couple of runs didn't work. If you intend to pass the ball primarily (not the best plan on a windy rainy day) then STICK TO THAT PLAN. The biggest problem with the Jets is that there is no offensive consistency to the point where it looks like they don't have any idea what they want to do from one play to the next, and I think that has caused a large degree of team confusion about exactly what they want to achieve from one game to the next.

DECIDE Mr. Schottenheimer... DECIDE what you want to do and then DO IT! Dont' walk out there and tinker all game again okay?

    OKAY???

If Schottenheimer goes out there and tinkers again I'm gonna call him "Tinkerbell" for the rest of the year.

    from twitter:

I'm told Jets Darrelle Revis will be on Davone Bess today. Antonio Cromartie on Brandon Marshall.

    ^^^Interesting

you guys generally don't score points early in games... if they don't make those adjustments that you are calling "tinkering", how do you expect to ever win?

I'm not arguing with the "stick to the run" mentality, but other than that, I don't think I've seen the jets show up with a game plan worth sticking to

Probabaly a good thing since Marshall probably isnt 100% and they will be lookin to go to Bess as the main target today.Just an assumption though!

Interesting. If Cro gets schooled early they'll switch it up I guess. I wouldn't expect a ton of throws with the weather being awful right now

Only thing that would worry me as a Jets fan is if Marshall does catch the ball, Cro is a poor tackler. There better be a safety in the vicinity

LOL I mean really with that news the Jets should easily win. I can see it now:

1st down: run for 1 yard gain
2nd down: run for 1 yard gain
3rd down: play action. Henne looks for Bess(mr 3rd down). Hes covered. Forced to Marshall. Pick

^I guarantee this happens at least once. Our OC looooooves play action in stupid situations. That and 3rd and 7 wildcat

This is absolutely true. Bang on. Our game planning sucks. We seem totally unable or unwilling to even attempt to take advantage of a team's weaknesses the way other do.

Having said that, it could come together and when it does this team is capable of beating anyone. But until it does, it's all just theoretical.
