Would the Jets really rather play Sanchez just because they don't want to deal with the media circus if they put Tebow in? If the season is crashing and Sanchez is the pilot, who cares what the media thinks? I'm not saying Tebow is the answer, but they can't let Sanchez continue to suck while the Jets lose just because they don't want to deal with the media.
The excuses will center around injuries, and there is some legitimacy, there are a lot of players hurt. But there is no excuse for poor fundemental play, which we have seen too much of in the Rex Ryan era.
It certainly says alot about what they think of Chez. If he's really 'the guy', surely they pull 'em.
If Rex cares about his job, Sanchez will be benched at some point. Woody Johnson wants Tebow in this is no secret, the ownership isn't obliging Rex to keep Sanchez in.
