Jets vs. Bengals - 2012 Preseason Game 1

I know it's against second stringers but Coples.... Holy shit

 

coples 1st preseason game > gholston entire career

 

I guess I just trust the announcers too much lol

 

I've been impressed with the D-line all game really. the linebackers not so much, getting old and slow there.

 

I was thinking the same thing.

 

All Coples had to do is suit up and he'd be better than the Ghost.

 

How did Gholston do in the preseason?

 

coples is bursting through the line with good consistency. gonna be a good year if this can carry over from preseason.

 

Ellis looked good and was getting good push against the 1st stringers, he keeps playing like that all year and he'll be the steal of that draft.

 

at what what point of the season does Rex start comfort eating ?

 

I'm impressed so far with Coples, but it's only the first pre-season game.

 

Kind of a shame we don't throw downfield much anymore..

he was consistent though

 

i hope vlad gets another chance to compete for a starting job after tonights performance. he looks real good, pointing out assignments, making multiple blocks on plays, and really holding it down in pass protection. good game from ducasse.

 

and a ganaway sighting deflected pass though

 

You do know this is the first preseason game, right?

 

we hauled it deep with tebow, and had a couple long developing plays that tebow bailed on as well.

vertical game is there

 

Holy shit our o-line sucks.

 

all the more reason to throw the ball downfield. Perhaps once just to see if its viable?

 

Remember when we had a dominant OL? Those days were awesome.
