There's been a fair amount of drama this season with several teams.. but can you honestly say that any of them or it was bigger than Jets vs Pats throughout the season? A Super Bowl win would be sweet, sweet icing on the cake. Couple of big obstacles still blocking it right now, but you can almost sniff it.

Every time I see fucking 45-3 now, I fucking love it. I txted anyone on my phone that I know lives and dies with this team the way I do and that's all I txted as soon as the game ended. Because every time someone brings that game up, all I'm gonna do is fucking smile.

the 45-3 game to me meant nothing. It was an aberration to be forgotten right away. Couldn't put the blame on anyone.
In retrospect, it probably just pissed the Jets off no end and gave the Pats a false sense that they didn't suck.
    Oops....
On to Pittsburgh .. and to Dallas.

    The cowboys east?

    Are you kidding me?

You want your team to become the most over hyped bunch of under achievers to ever take the field?

    Nice.

Wow 40+ million people? That's about 15% of the US population.

Hello all, Bear Fan here. I just signed up today, not to troll, but to say congratulations to you guys!!!!

I was on our Bears Message Board during the game, and all the Bears Fans were rooting for your team to win.

It was a great game and you guys deserved that win. Thanks for taking out the Pats. You guys have it rough being in their division, always listening to how great the Pats are. We have the same problem, we always have to listen about the great Packers. Jets played great, it was good to see the pats go down.

So glad you guys won and rooting for you guys against the Steelers! Good luck to your team.

You are welcome. Jets played an impressive game, and I may be a Bears Fan, but I will give credit where credit is due.

It was an awesome game! Loved watching it. Get so sick and tired of hearing about the Pats year after year, I'm sure you guys must hate it more though. Very happy for your team. And if we lose to the Packers, I'll be rooting for you guys in the SB, just as all the Bears Fans will.

    Good luck!

Thanks and congrats on the big win

for what it's worth...once upon a time i wanted to draft cutler and I pushed hard here on the boards

looking back it probably would have been a good pick if it didn't mean we'd never have our road warrior

I'm actually not surprised to see people root for us for a couple of reasons.
    1) We're not a traditional winning franchise. People like to see a team win one for the first time in decades. Yes, even the teams that talk a lot of crap before and after they play.
    2) People, now this is just my opinion (but i think it's true) are sick of seeing teams like Indy and NE win. The Pats have almost become the Yankees of the NFL.
    3) People perceive the Pats as cheaters, which they were when they won their titles.
    4) I wouldn't be surprised to see people root for us vs. Pitt. Us being the underdog, and the whole Roethlisberger thing.
I personally could care less who roots for us or against us. I just want to see us win.

Impressive numbers, Rex Ryan making the Jets bigger than life

In those 40+ million were probably all the players from about 30 others teams saying to themselves, "Daaaamn. When is my contract up??"

I think this goes to show the Nation likes to watch US. Sure the Patriots held their part in that, but the country wants to see the Jets.

bout damn time we get respect, a couple years ago no one gave a damn about the Jets. no primetime nothing, at all. You can now match the Jets up against anyone and it will draw a huge audience.

I think we have been playing soft and no identity under Herman, Gore, Mangini ever since Tuna left the jets. Sick tired of getting pushed around by other teams. We are earning respects now!Rex brings the " We believe" it's a whole new teams!

Jets are blowing up the ratings this season..hell their game against the bears brought in huge ratings for CBS. Say what you want about Sexy Rexy, but he makes for good TV.
