Chicago signed RB Darius Walker from ND and QB Chris Leak from FLA. They both most certainly had pretty decent college careers. Leak should go to the Area League.
Kyle Steffes is a hell of a back, we are pretty excited out here and hope he can make the cut. I am unable to post some links, but if you youtube his name there are a couple of good runs on there, and you can get an idea of his running style. He put up some good numbers for us, he will be missed that's for sure! Just thought I'd share, I'm sure a few people were wondering who this kid is!
Leonard Peters will make this team without question. He plays with intensity hits like a truck can help with the run. This guy can be coached up. I cant wait until training camp and watch this guy surprise the shit out of everyone. Let's go Jets.
Thanks for the laugh. NO, ABSOLUTELY NO UDFA will "make the team no question"... If he was such a lock, why wasn't he drafted?
Im saying out og all udfas he will make the team. Hes just what we need. He has a chance albeit small its a chance. Quit being an ahole, im entitled to think optimisitcally you jerk.
Why is it funny? Your a great poster but this makes you look like an ass. I'm with Tight; Leonard Peters will make this team and he is going to be a very good ST player for this team. Oh and the story is the Jets liked him and they made a deal with him that they would not draft a safety, if he went undrafted he would sign with the Jets. The Jets and he knew that the team had more pressing needs than a Safety but look at this more as an extra draft pick as opposed to an UDFA.
i still wanna know whats the deal with Aaron fairooz wr out of centeral arkansas...he seems like he could be a decent pick up...onless he went somewhere else?
Moran looks solid in the Bowl game tape that I have. Hold his blocks very well. Can at least make practice squad. That SS from Hawaii will make team....I agree. He might turn into a key player for Jets' barring injury.
He may or may not make the team, but he's a UDFA, so he's not "DEFINITELY" making the team. Sorry, can't buy it. If the Jets really liked him, they would have drafted him. They obviously liked others better. It's not an extra pick, it's an UDFA.... Sorry, UDFA's don't get me excited. If they make the team, I'm all for it, but not many do. What's funny? How enamered (sp) people get with some of these lower round picks and UDFAs... Only a small % pan out. People want to get rid of a guy like McCareins, but are in love with the 7th rounder we took. Makes absolutely 0 sense. McCareins hasn't been good, but he's better than some 7th rounder. Of course, money comes into play here, but people here do not think that way... you just hear things like "McCareins sucks"
Did you see the NFL.Com Profile compared Alvin Banks to Curtis Martin? Obviously they're talking about style of runner, but hell, no wonder they're giving him a shot!
