Mecole Hardman could do exactly what Moore does for less money and we upgraded a draft pick. Two ways to look at this 1. We made no loss or no gain at skill posiiton and we now have back to back picks very early in the 2nd round. 2. We are trading for Rodgers and its costing us two 2nd round picks. I feel like this will work out either way.
Good luck somewhere else. I think he started to dog it too quickly in games if he wasn't involved early. He can hopefully figure it out somewhere else.
I promise you no one is giving a shit about Elijah Moore and a 3rd round pick the first time Rodgers hits Hardman on a bomb for a TD. And if you still give a shit about Moore, you're choosing to be miserable.
I absolutely love this move. JD is way ahead. We keep the first and we get our second back. So when is all well and done, if I’m right, will boil down to a third, Elijah and Davis for AR. May be a conditional in 2024. And from my view point, we have a stronger WR corps for AR with the moves, plus kick return capabilities
I calculated Moore's value as the 2d pick in the 3d round, per the chart. I hope you all are right, but I suspect the deal will be both 2ds for Rodgers. Rodgers trade may happen fast now.
The trade is fine but the Jets as an organization need to figure out a way to stop finding their way into situations where players force their way out. Whether that’s by way of asking for lots of money to stay or throwing hissyfits. We keep drafting players high and trading them away.
his attitude was a turn off. He didn't do much last year. I remember Mims wanted a trade too but then he was quiet, went out and worked and did his thing and improved. I think with A Rod, Mims can step into Moore's spot if needed.
I remember a few on this site said the sign of a good GM is to recognize his mistakes and correct them quickly in a way to make the team better. Seems to me that just happened.
Agree. On the surface I do not like it though. Hopefully all the other changes will make me forget about this trade. I wanted to see Elijah with Rodgers BADLY.
No i dont think he is and ill go further and say Moore would have looked just as good if not better in KC. Neither fit what we did last year and what I am assuming we will be doing this year. But both can make catches when needed too.
I think Moore better than Hardman & think Lazard is a down grade. I think Moore hasn’t hit his peak. Plus still had him on his rookie deal. Doesn’t Matter now I guess.
I'm good with this trade as long as "both" 2nd rounders don't go for Rodgers. I wanted them to give up no more than a third this year but now this is like giving up the third and Moore. I'm good with that. Cobb will probably be his replacement. Rodgers will focus on Wilson anyway just like he did with Devonte Adams. Moore could have been a problem again this year wanting more of a share.
