So when he took over from the prior GMs those are his mistakes now? And if he make a mistake he’s not gonna be perfect but idk how you think he hasn’t been our best GM in a long time
I absolutely loved JD’s. off-season last year, a few moves aside. It was a massive improvement from his prior years. I’m onboard. Don’t understand why so many fans won’t call the obvious balls and strikes with him tho. The S position has been sorta decimated since he got here. The options he brought on, Whitehead, Joyner, Davis… haven’t panned. So JD doing what he does, in this case regarding S, wouldn’t be a good thing. I’m hopeful for a different result in Clark, and do love the move tho.
Am I the only one that felt Joyner wasn't bad? dude wasnt Ed Reed / John Lynch, but for what he was supposed to be, he had some good games. Ashtyn Davis on the other hand
Joyner had his moments, but man when he sucked it was usually for a long gain or a score. Ashtyn Davis is basically the second-seat mascot of the Douglas regime, Michael Carter being #1.
Fair enough.... but I think Michael Carter has contributed way more than Davis, even if it was just for one season.
I won't stand for this Ashtyn Davis slander any longer! He'll, I'm pretty sure it was he who recovered a fumble 2 years ago in a game Jets were losing by 30.....
