David Harris again was good. A forced fumble was great. He is again another positive to come out of a bad season.

    A few things I saw:

Auditions for next season, we were putting in several different o-line and d-line player packages. I thought Will Montgomery played fairly well. He was the only new guy that played decent.

Pouha is a keeper and it is time to get rid of D-Rob and Ellis. Pouha played well today and he is a pretty decent NT. Ellis and D-Rob both played much less time then they usually do.

We desperately need WR depth. Smith has been a bit of a disappointment, at least so far. We need a good slot receiver. Releasing Coles would be a terrible mistake, we already have a lack of talent at WR.

Also, I am sold on drafting Jake Long and moving D'Brick to RT. D'Brick wouldn't face the elite pass rushers, Long is an elite prospect who has been dominant all year long at Michigan.

When I looked at his avatar it was one of Clemens and Chad together on the sidelines, not of Clemens getting crunched. Had I seen that one I might have seen your point of view. He must have changed it after you posted. My bad.

Is there a statistic for being a foot away from the QB but not sacking him?

Cuz we have to be leading the league.

    Another Big-Boy in tight pants...

Chad's lack of mobility was on full display today.

Offense: OL, TE, need major improvements.

Long really sucks & Brick is 2 small to play RT. Now if Jets get Otah from Pitt....340 lbs to play RT or RG (RG prefered) ....then maybe Jets can run to the right side.

Ah see I tend to believe we need help at OL, WR, and QB. Baker is a solid TE, I have to admit I don't watch him much when he's part of a blocking scheme but he's an able pass catcher if nothing more. It's really unknown whether or not Coles will return but even if he does he's been banged up a lot, and the way he was talking before the season makes him a question mark in my mind. Cotchery is a good WR but the question is can he become a true #1 option. After that there's a huge drop off.

QB...well lets just say I'm not content and leave it at that.

I think the biggest mistake the Jets could make is a high draft pick on a QB. I say bring in someone in the 3rd or 4th, build the O-line and D-line and see what we have in QB's.

I want them to take Flacco wherever he's projected unless it's the first round. That why part of me is hoping we trade down for more picks. Unfortunately I've read that he's being projected mid to late second round. Who knows what a great combine could do for him.

    1. Why would we move Brick to RT?

    2. Why would we draft Long if we have a young LT already? Especially one thats more athletic and a better pass blocker?

    3. Why would D'Brick, who struggles against bigger rushers, go to RT...where teams usually have their bigger end?

    4. If we did the reverse and moved Long to RT, we'd be using a top 5 pick on a RT? That doesn't seem right.
