Yeah I'm not exactly fired up about him, I'm very worried, but I'm not going to write him off as not having any drive because of this. Let's see what he has.

If Gholston gets 5 sacks this year, I will be more than happy. All I want from him is to stop the run before it goes anywhere. I don't care about his Pass Rushing ability, I'm not setting my hopes high. I just want him to be a contributer in the Run Defense.

I went to camp this morning and watched Vern most of the practice. He seems lazy and showed 0 moves when he was lined up on the outside.

Why? What we need is a pass rush. He was drafted as a pass rusher. We have a ton of talent in the run-stopping department. We can't send defensive backs in for the QB every play.

Ugh. This seriously impacts the amount of faith I have in Ryan's reports that he's improving.

It seems as though everytime he gets engaged with the tackle, he just stands there. Much like he did last season in limited opportunities.

You have it completely reversed. I don't care what he does against the run. I want to see him go in on 3rd down, peel his ears back, and get after the QB. That's why he was drafted.

He also got a job as backup TE in New England. Anonymous is busy this year.
